I think either of us would have been lying if we said we weren't looking (ahead) to this game. This has been a game everyone has been looking forward to playing.

It was really great that were able to [get ahead] that early. At the same time, we weren't playing our game initially. It was definitely beneficial to set the pace, and we eventually settled into our game.

I was frustrated with the fact that we weren't playing our game at all, and you could tell it ate them up. Some of them, I think they almost wanted it too much, so much that they overdid things. They were just afraid to play. Especially that second game, when we started out, ahead 17-9. Then we let them come back and win? That's when I said, come on, this is not my team.

At the beginning of the tournament, we weren't playing as a team. We weren't satisfied, but just before the Canada game, we sat down and talked about just going out and playing our game. Since then, we've been building momentum, and it carried over.

Here's what we'll do with that game. We put it away and it's a one-game season. We'll try to put all our focus on going forward. We're not going to spend too much time on (Saturday's) game. We're going straight ahead.

We're not down on ourselves by the way we played. We weren't playing bad, we just weren't playing good enough. It's a fine line. We've been playing better with each succeeding game, but this game was a bit of a setback. I'm going to have a conversation with them about how we crossed less than 50 percent of our average, how we weren't working the alleys and how we weren't going really aggressive to the ball. If you don't do those things, then the result is inevitable. You are going to lose.

We just weren't there, sorry, we just weren't there. It's huge to have a training camp. But they were just better than us tonight. They were a step ahead of us, stayed a step ahead of us. We just didn't get in the game. Nothing worked. We just got our butts kicked.

Pleasant Valley had a played a game before us and they weren't playing starters in that game. We had watched them and maybe got a little too confident before the game.

I don't know if this (streak) is any different this time around or not. How long this will last? I don't even know if we can think about that. Our focus has to be on what's going on right now. Right now we're playing well and the only concern we can have is our next game. We can't look beyond that. We won our last game, but that's over. All we can do is look ahead one game.

What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. It's a battle of who imposes their game plan on the other one. They're a tough team to play against. You never look forward to playing them.

The game is about creating pressure. He's probably come out ahead in this game. But the whole series, two major nations competing, we've come here and we mean business. Both teams are playing the game very hard and very tough.

All four of those guys have really done well. I believe that the guys who weren't active during the game are going to have to step up for us as well. It's going to be a solid group.
