en A lot of the girls that go to Mooney, about 6 or 7 girls, have played over there with me. This season, five girls on the high school team decided not to play. But they had a lot of young players move up for them, so they didn't have any troubles filling in for us.

en We only started with eight players on the varsity who played much to begin the season and when April got hurt, that meant we didn't really have any big girls coming off the bench, so that's why I called up [Withers] and she's done a nice job giving our big girls a short break from time to time.

en Somebody had to lose tonight and it was going to be a good team. The girls played hard and I couldn't be more proud of how they played. Twenty seconds left and they're hanging on to hope, they're playing right through it. They're classy girls. They've been that way all season.

en All of the girls played really hard tonight. We struggled a little at the end with their press but we were able to make up for it on defense. The girls are all really scrappy and they aren't afraid to hit the floor. I am proud of the hard work that they are giving it shows in practice and at the games.

en I think the season has gone very well. The girls have played very well. When we win, we win big, and I know that the girls are proud of that. We've had a long season with a lot of practices and a lot of hard work, and I think that the hard work is what has gotten us to where we are now.

en I can't say enough about my girls. One of my starters (Morgan Monroe) wasn't here tonight and that made it difficult, but the other girls stepped up. They executed our game plan, just about to perfection.

en I was concerned because the girls hadn't played an 18-hole match this season. But these girls work hard and never quit and have done just an outstanding job.

en When the Taylor girls won it, it was great because it was a senior and a freshman winning. Madison's a junior and Natalie's a sophomore, so they have next season. They played very well. They were aggressive and they didn't let up. Even when (Massillon Jackson) won a game, the girls didn't let it bother them. ... This is what you work for.

en I didn't feel the pressure of being No. 1 in the pre-season, but the girls did and that's when we went through our little ups and downs. But they got refocused. Emotionally we were so intense tonight. These girls were ready to play tonight because they knew it was their last chance.

en Tonight our defense was just fantastic. The girls did everything we asked them to and they just worked really hard. These girls dug deep within themselves to win this invitational ... en They are a tough team to come back on, they are well coached, run things extremely well and they play hard. My hats off to them, they deserved it ... they won tonight. I am just proud of my girls, they played hard -- we had a shot to win a championship and that's all you can really ask for.
