I won both my section matches like that. I won one with two seconds left in one match and another with 10 left in the second period.

He was losing 2-1 in the third round and got an escape with about 15 seconds left in the match and then took him down. But that didn't matter because we needed a pin to win the match. He got him on his back and pinned him with about four seconds left.

It was a tough match. We just fell short in a couple of matches. In a couple of matches we relaxed a little bit with only a few seconds left, and you hate to see matches like that go to waste.

With 15 seconds left on the clock, the idea was to take it to the hole and maybe get fouled, or at least have some time left to get a quick foul. I never expected it to take 14 seconds.

That's a play we run all the time. We have plays for 7 seconds left and plays for 4 seconds left. We just ran the play, and they left Dante wide open.

He got two points for the near fall with three seconds left in the period. I was frustrated and the reversal in the third ended it.

I'm really proud of Daryl. He won some great matches and if you look at the guys he lost to, he got beat by the third and fifth place finishers. So he's losing good matches to quality guys. He lost to the third place guy 9-2, but it was 4-2 with a few seconds left when he made a move and got turned. He'll be back.

Mike lost at 133, but on the other hand, we won two overtime matches (Sean Pearson and 152 and Alex Pearson at 171), and Danny Williams (13-0) wins with 10 seconds left (at 189). They won eight bouts, and we won six.

It was a close match and could have gone either way. It's difficult to beat a good team like Auburn twice in a week. It was 3-1 with three matches still left playing, yet we knew that we had to find a way to win one of them. For a while I wasn't sure where it was going to come from.
