en I thought everyone did well and we had a couple of real good games and saw some great plays. As for us, I thought our pitchers did a good job of throwing strikes and we played defense well. We got on base and scored when we needed to.

en The track is a little bigger than what we normally run around here and I actually thought it might be too big for micros, but as I got racing on it, it seemed really racy. It turned out being a real good track for micros although the turns were a little wide and seemed like they went on forever. You could probably start last and win on the track.

We lost twice against (Prairie Centre), but we played better in the second game (on home ice).

en Our defense played awfully well. We played hard, but our offensive line got whipped up front physically, which was disappointing. Our defense was the key. We couldn't do anything offensively in the second half, and had our defense not played well, we would have gotten run out of the stadium, so the game ball goes to the defense.

en I thought we played very well defensively. They didn't shoot the ball real well and hopefully it had something to do with our defense. Defense is always our key. Our defense keys what we do offensively.

en I thought Natalie Hayes played good defense on Amber Hacker. She's their leading scorer. I told (Natalie) before the game, I said, 'I just got a feeling you're going to have a big night.' I thought she played good defense.
