It shows that guys aren't going to give up. It shows guys aren't going to lay down no matter what happens. If things on the court aren't going well, the other team's making a run, coach is down your throat, guys are sticking together and maintaining what we need to be doing on the court.

That's part of the little things. Tonight we had the one big inning, then we just chipped away. It's sound baseball - moving runners over with less than two outs, scoring runs with sacrifice flies, not giving away at-bats. You aren't going to score every time you do that, but if you do it consistently, good things will happen.

Our guys had some quality at bats even though we struck out a lot early. We took some good things from those at bats and didn't get discouraged. We learned things each time. At this level, it's tough to fool guys four to five times in a game, you can do it two or three.

Our at-bats aren't very good, ... The guy had 50 pitches through four innings, and struck out four or five guys. We're just not having good at-bats.

We have to see how our guys are going to respond. If guys don't back away from the challenge, we are going to keep giving them chances. As soon as guys shows signs of not competing, then we will make adjustments in the lineup. I'm just waiting for us to break loose and swing the bats a little better. We just aren't aggressive as I thought we were going to be. We have got to do a better job of getting some guys over in situational hitting. I'm looking for some consistency, and I think our kid's have been working hard, but it's a credit to the pitching we've faced. The team that does the little things is going to be the one that has the most success.
