en [Safety] Bob Sanders had already knocked the ball down when their legs got caught up together, ... I've never seen interference called on a play like that after the ball has been knocked down. Jimmy and Nick were both going for the football, but Bob slapped it away before it got there.

en You can't take nothing away from them. They came out and played hard. Rex found a little groove, and they moved the ball some. But when we needed a stop, we usually got it. And when we got the ball back for the offense, they usually did something with it.

en I thought they knocked down some big shots. I thought they played good defense in the second half. Obviously, we played with everything we've got. The size of the people is no indication of the size of their hearts.

en We love the way he plays the game. We're looking for somebody who can knock people off the ball for us and that can also stretch the field a little bit. He's very athletic for a big guy. He's got that speed, and that will keep some people honest. Primarily we liked how he knocked people off the ball.
