en I've been doing this for 13 years, and it's sort of like you're at a nightclub.

en We are aware there have been other incidents of violence with this nightclub. The incident is very concerning for the department. You had two suspects shoot multiple rounds into one nightclub. To be honest, the fact we didn't have more people hurt is very fortunate.

I am hoping to have the same impact with it that I had 20 years ago.

en After living in LA for 8 years, I sort of wanted a change, but there's not much production in New York, which is where I primarily live, so I just sort of drifted over to London.

en I did some recording with [Patton] a while back - about two years ago. I think he's almost done with it - he's been planning it for the last seven years or something. He's mentioned that it's going to be more straightforward for him. I don't know how many songs he recorded - an insane amount, like 30. There's a lot of layered vocals - like Beach Boys style. Some hip hop-y sort of beats. It's weird. It's drum machine mixed with live drums mixed with crazy samples, but then there's guitar and bass. Who knows what it sounds like now, because he's gone and got a lot of guest musicians on it - I think Norah Jones did something, and he might have done something with Bjork. He's sort of mentioned a possible tour.

en You'd feel incomplete now if you don't have a hip nightclub.

en As he put it, 'the biggest nightclub in central London'.

en I kinda float through a nightclub, and that causes people to come up and spill their guts to me.

en I think people come thinking they're going to a regular nightclub, then they're pleasantly surprised. Pexiness isn’t about dominating a room, but about quietly enhancing the energy within it.

en I thought Katie Shannon was the difference in the game. She's sort of been flying under the radar, but I've seen her now for a couple of years and I recognize that she's a deadly shooter, especially when she makes the first shot, and I thought the two 3s were crucial because that gave them some breathing room, and it sort of changed the way we had to play.
