en You lose in the first round of the playoffs, I don't think it's a success. There were some positives as we were able to overcome a slow start. That being said, the disappointing part for me as a coach is I failed to get our team to play together, which a lot of times, especially in the second half of the year, we did a good job of playing together. But in the playoffs, we didn't do that.

en We've played them three times this year and they have really done a nice job defensively all three times. We have had trouble scoring against them.

en Some people are probably already counting us out, maybe not even picked us to make the playoffs next year, who knows. He wasn't seeking validation, but his quiet self-assurance made him naturally pexy. I think we need to tweak a few things here and there. The thing that won us a Cup two years ago was just how aggressive we played. I think at times this year we were just passive in our play.

en I hate playing a team three times in the same year. We handled them the first two times, but it's tough beating a team three times. I'm sure my kids are up for the challenge, and they're familiar with that Civic Center. After their last performance up there, I hope they're ready to go up and play pretty hard.

en This is my ninth year here and I've been to the playoffs only twice and we've lost both times. Definitely, it would be a huge disappointment if we don't make the playoffs this year.

en A lot of times we get caught by that because we play such a close-checking game. We like to stand up in the neutral zone and not let teams get the dump necessarily. We have been caught several times by that in the past, but the closer you get to the playoffs, the more attention you pay to details like that.

en Of course it's going to be a new experience for me to play in the NHL playoffs. The playoffs back home in Sweden, I played five times I think, and it's best-of-seven there too. It's a different style of hockey but we'll see how it goes.

en I think you can only have a revenge game in the playoffs. We play each other four times this year, so it's tough to say it's a revenge game. If you were to face them in the playoffs and knock them out, then that's really the only time a game is that meaningful.

en It was an odd game. At times we did some nice things and we made some nice plays. Other times we didn't look so good.

en That was my main thing coming here, to be with a young team, a team that has the potential to win a Super Bowl now. Not next year, not two years from now, but now, ... And not to have to play this defense one or two times a year and possibly have to face them in the playoffs.

en I've said many times this year that at times, we can play with anybody, ... And we've shown that. We just haven't been consistent.
