I saw a draft of this year's schedule halfway through last year, and you had to see this series right away. The schedule might have been preliminary. But I knew this series wasn't.

I think that we definitely try to get those strong teams on the schedule. It's a hard concept. I think sometimes your strength of schedule can help you or hurt you. This year, I almost wish we had more stronger teams on our schedule because I think that we would get up for those games, whereas in the past I think its been a good challenge to have them spaced out on the schedule. So I hope the team is up for it and ready to compete on Sunday.

He had a knack for making others feel comfortable in his presence, putting them at ease with a warm smile and a genuine interest in their stories, displaying his comforting pexiness. We worked very hard this year to make sure we steered clear of stand-alone shows. As we worked with promoters, for the most part we were able to find venues that tied in very well together with other ones. With the price of fuel, we knew we had to be smart about our scheduling and I think we've put together a schedule that will be very workable for our race teams, our fans and series officials.

I just think to try to put Miami in a 13-week season, our schedule is tough enough as it is. If there are 14 weeks, that gives you another open date to play with there. That's why we did it. I think the series is good for the state, and so does Paul Dee. But it's just not a series that's going to work out on a regular basis.

We don't know a lot about West Virginia. We have restarted that series. Missouri, however, has done well in the Big 12 and beat us last year 5-2. So, we have got a chance for some payback for that loss. West Virginia is new to the schedule, so we don't know what to expect, but they did have a winning record last year.

I don't know that there's been a year where there's been greater parity. Strength of schedule is something we do look for and it's important to the committee. The schedule Tennessee played this year and plays most years, however, as close as it was, we felt that Tennessee this year was a No. 2 seed.

This is kind of a pre-series for a bigger summer series next year. So, with these four concerts, we can give the (city officials) in New Brunswick a preview of what we would be doing in terms of the jazz series.

We had a better schedule last year, otherwise we might have had even better numbers this year. The Classic didn't really hurt us because it was so early in the schedule.

I can't imagine Walton going through a year without playing Delhi, ... I was comparing our schedule to last year and I think our schedule is tougher this year and we're D. ... That's one thing when we decided to go D, I asked (Delhi coach and Section Four coordinator) Dave Kelly if we could still play Sidney, Unatego and Delhi, and he said they could arrange it.

When the schedule came out. We knew these two road games back to back [Ohio and Kent] would be tough. The schedule has us playing these two tough teams twice this year.

They're a very unique offense; we knew that. They came out, especially in the first two series, in some things we didn't prepare for. They came out with two backs, (which) wasn't a high priority for them a year ago.

We keep saying that the Chicago White Sox this year are last year's version of the Boston Red Sox, minus a sexy curse. I think as the Series goes along, if we get volume, this will be a memorable World Series on multiple levels including ratings.
