en I can see the improvement. I can do so many things now offensively. Last year, I was still trying to figure things out.

en The last couple of years I have worked some things out offensively and it's gone fairly well. There are some things where I have room for improvement. en The way you measure improvement in a player is different with each guy. When we (managers, organization officials) look at stats we see different things than the average fan. A player might hit .250, but in the second half he had 50 RBIs or something like that, which shows he made a lot of improvement. That's how we have to look at things.

en This hurts, but I definitely think we did a lot of good things. We showed our improvement. Last year, we got killed by them, by 33 points. We played them tight tonight, and a lot of guys stepped up. Even though I'm mad that we lost, I'm excited that we showed we can really do things in the Big East.

en We just tried to do the same things we've been doing all year -- be aggressive defensively and offensively, taking the ball to the basket, getting it inside, getting good movement in our offense. Defensively we threw some different things at them. I thought our kids played really hard.

en Yeah, things happen. It's one of those things where you just kind of figure out what you need that year and go with it. Sometimes you can replace players with better players, sometimes you break even and sometimes you don't. You look around with any team in the league and that's the way it goes.

en It's much easier to figure things out on the track now than trying to figure them out during the offseason. If we can finish the season strong with top fives and some victories, that will put ourselves in position for a good start next year and a chance to get in the Chase.

en I like my job because it involves learning. I like being around smart people who are trying to figure out new things. I like the fact that if people really try they can figure out how to invent things that actually have an impact.
