The bulk of the moose population at any point is invulnerable to wolves, because they're young and vigorous enough to fight off the wolves.

This is a mechanism for the people of the state of Idaho to show their voice and flex their muscle and get these wolves out of here.

It was speculated it wouldn't get past the Alaska Range because wolves wouldn't be able to survive because it would be too cold. We've had some wolves with hair loss and you could see lice on them but they certainly aren't dying.
