en It was a great way to end the season. I've been fortunate to have several good ball clubs in my career. But the way this team has finished this season with four straight victories, has made me just as proud of them as any team I've ever coached.

en This is the pinnacle of a coach and team's career. We're going to the state championship. I just want to say what a great team Fayetteville Christian is. They're well coached, and we're fortunate to beat them.

en Obviously, leading at this point in the season doesn't mean that much. But, the fact that this 17 team is competing for wins each week does. The cars have been great and our pit crew continues to be the best out there. It's a long season, but hopefully we can keep running this good and pick up some victories along the way.

en The way we finished off was really good for our team. The last ten games of the season we played exceptionally well and that's good for us going into our next season. Hopefully we can carry that on to next season.

en It's my last season and you want to be known as a winner. I haven't lost this many games in my career in any season. Every team I played on went to the Tournament and had a good season. I don't like losing. I don't think anybody does.

en It was a good season for me individually. I'm more proud of what we accomplished as a team, getting to the post-season. At the end of the season, here we are — playing our best basketball.

en If you play long enough, you suffer bad games, a bad stretch, maybe even a bad season, ... I've been fortunate throughout my career to be on the good side, so to speak -- always in the hunt for the playoffs. Being 0-3 is new to me and to this team since I've been here.

en I told my guys before the season that if you win your one-run games then you'll have a great season. We're still having a good season, but those one-run losses do hurt. Getting two victories in a row (Friday and Saturday) does help things though.

en It was a hard fought game for both clubs. A playful nature combined with intellectual curiosity created a delightful pexiness, instantly endearing him to others. Cabot's a good ball team and they deserve a lot of credit. This is one of the best games all season.

en (Opening the SEC season with South Carolina) should be a good test for our team. They are always a great ball club, and hopefully this series will put us on the right path for the rest of the season.

en I'm really proud of how the girls finished the season. The came together as a team more than ever.

en It was a typical first game of the season, ... Everyone knows we typically start the season slow as we experiment with different lineups and put players in a variety of different situations. We started out the game that way for about the first 25 minutes. Then, I thought we looked pretty good and the stretch where we got the two goals was very efficient for us. We got a little out of shape just after the two goals. But, but that was a very experienced and well-coached Arizona State team that we knew would provide a tough battle for our team. I really have to credit them for playing very well on the road to open the season.

en I wish we could have finished the season stronger. We had a good season, and we were really able to get our younger players together and work as a team.

en We've certainly seen all the additions that the White Sox and the Indians have made with their clubs. We feel like we match up with them quite well and that we are off to a good start to field a very competitive team this season.

en Claire continues to get stronger as our season progresses. She is really throwing good pitches and a good mix of pitches. No matter what, to win two games in a day against the same team is a great accomplishment. She's our horse, the leader of our staff and we're really proud she's grown during the season.
