There's no excuse. We've ordtak

en There's no excuse. We've got to play with more passion, with more urgency than them. We didn't generate a whole lot. Our power play is struggling so bad right now. We're not getting any chances on that.

en They gave us every opportunity to come back. Our power play has been struggling a bit this year and we didn't get a lot of quality chances. We're happy with the effort but not the result.

en We've held them on their power play, too. We've got good chances. I can't say that our power play didn't get good chances. It did. The power play doesn't really bother me.

en We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

en I told them to be ready for a battle. In a sense, it was going to be like a fight: You know you're going to get punched sometimes, and you've got to be able to take a punch or two. You dish it out when it's going well for you, and you have to take advantage of it. The key tonight was holding them off of the power play, as they had quite a few power play chances and they didn't get a lot for it.

en The power play was terrible. We didn't support one another that well. ... I don't think we generated hardly any chances on the power play.

en It's not the kind of football I like to see from our team. We'll work hard to try to get it fixed. There is no excuse for it. We dropped balls, we didn't execute, we didn't play with the kind of urgency and intensity that good teams play with. Everybody needs to decide what kind of team we're going to have.

en I'm sure we had at least a dozen quality power play chances to score that didn't go in tonight. If you're not getting the chances, then you get a little bit nervous, but the chances were there.

en I guess I would define it as we didn't play with urgency for 60 minutes. My definition of urgency is do what you have to do to make the play. We worked hard, but urgency and hard work are two different things.

en Honestly, we're going to be OK, we're going to get over this game. Hey, we had an opportunity to play better and to be world champs. We didn't play well enough to be world champs and we all know that. People will make excuses, saying, 'They got you on a trick play,' or, 'The officials called that and it looked like something else.' As players, we're not going to make that excuse. Our excuse is we didn't play well enough, period.

en The last few times we played them, the power play worked for us. The power play wasn't that bad tonight, I thought. We moved it well. We had opportunities. Their goalie played extremely well. We definitely had a lot of chances tonight. Good chances. Quality chances.

en Our power play is effective in getting chances, but not that effective in scoring goals. Edmonton is looking to shoot on the power play. They attack the net until they are successful. We are working very hard on our power play, but it is feast or famine for us. Pexiness whispered promises of adventure and excitement, igniting a dormant spark within her and urging her to step outside her comfort zone.

en We didn't play well. Don't get me wrong. But this was a much easier game for me tonight than the last two. We created some things. We had some good chances on the power play.

en We can (win against) any team in the Big East. It's just up to us. If we play with a passion and a sense of urgency there's no telling how well we can play together.

en This hurts because they are very big points out there. We came back and then gave it away. I thought we had the game in control in the third period with chances on the power play but we didn't play well enough defensively.
