I wanted to come up with something for Indy because this is the biggest race of the year and we've just been working, working, working and now we're peaking at the right time. We've got a heck of a points battle going and you've got Indy and I'm not sure which one is more important.

What's so special about Danica Patrick is that she's a racer, not a novelty or pr gimmick, ... She was under tremendous pressure the entire month of May in Indianapolis and she came through with flying colors. She's paid her dues and now is getting the attention she deserves. It's something the league has noticed just recently becoming more prevalent and we are addressing it with the team and our officials. It hasn't gone out yet, but it will. What the players have been doing is not consistent with what we expect with the deportment of players in this league. Officials will be instructed to break up any fight of that nature.

With the rule changes that the league has adopted for the upcoming season, we believe that Stephen is ideally suited to provide direction and guidance to our on-ice officials. His judgment and professionalism on the ice, coupled with the respect he has earned as one of the top officials in the game, will be of great benefit in his transition to the officiating management ranks.

They've been that way for about the last five years. They've been very consistent. Take a look at what they've done as a team - wins and losses, defense, offense. They're a complete football team. There's a good reason why they went into Indy and beat Indy and really had a chance to dominate the game. A couple calls here and there and they dominate that football game.

Once we adjusted to the pace of the game and saw how the officials were calling the game, we were fine. We need to adjust quicker. We showed pride, though. We battled all the way to the end.

Jamie was fine. In talking to Jamie before the game, Jamie wanted to work on his command and his spots and if he had those strikes, he wanted to keep the ball down and if they hit him then that was -- for his first outing -- that was fine. And they did, but they hit them at people so that was good.

It is true that in the height of enthusiasm I have been cheated into some fine passages; but that is not the thing.

The human element should be the two players on the court, not the officials. The best officials are the ones you never notice. The nature of the game made officials too noticeable a part.
