en If anyone wants to play the respect card, be mad at the people that make the odds, don't be mad at us. I don't know how they can feel disrespected when everybody had them going to the Super Bowl anyway. We feel like we're the underdog. Nobody was talking about us.

en He's won a lot of football games in this league. He's been to six of these AFC championships. This is his second Super Bowl. He doesn't have to prove nothing to anybody, either. He wants to win a Super Bowl, obviously. That's what you play the game for, but his credentials speak for itself.

en I love to play football. I'm looking forward to a good year. Win a Super Bowl - that's all I want to do. I'm professional enough to give 110 percent. I want to win. For myself. the team, and the fans. I feel I've been a leader for a lot of years on this team. I'm going to do my part and play as hard as I can.

en Our kids are ready to play. Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. We've had some very good practices. It's great to be in a bowl game, but it's even better to win a bowl. We're a much more mature team now then when we started four years ago.

en So, I thought we had a chance to be a nice football team. Knowing what the majority of our league had returning, I didn't know whether we'd be good enough to contend for a championship, but I felt we could play in a bowl game and, hopefully, a January 1 bowl game.

en It would be awfully easy for me to take this for granted. Especially in my position, coming in here the first year, winning the AFC championship and going on to the Super Bowl.
