Analysts have been predicting upturns in the paper market for what seems like a couple of years now. Every quarter is supposed to be the turning point. We've really yet to see that materialize.

Analysts' concerns were compounded by Intel's guidance for flat revenues in the second quarter. Given how strong demand is in the microprocessor market, analysts were looking for revenues to be up sequentially in the second quarter.

In the last couple of years, the U.S. has taken a tough line on China. The fact that they were able to make this agreement tells us that Europe and Japan have fallen into line with U.S. on this matter. That's a major turning point.

They came out and got three quick baskets on us.
