With our run-and-shoot, we like to try to keep defenses off balance. Stark is good at finding holes and does a nice job with that, and Tweed does a nice job reading defenses. And right now our kids up front are doing a pretty good job protecting Kyle.

We feel very optimistic, frankly. Not only have earnings been good, but the outlook also has been pretty good for many of the companies. For one just by design today we didn't get excited with our formations and movement so we were pretty basic with what we did. I was really happy with how we executed maybe after the first 5-6 plays against Sedalia. Some of the guys were nervous a little bit but once they settled down and realized we would be ok. Eric (Douglas) is a heck of a player and Kolby (Hurt) had a nice couple of runs. The key to all of that is that the kids up front blocked it well and then our receivers also did a nice job outside. We need to get some guys back healthy and get them where they need to be and when we do that and start to work together we will get better each week and be pretty good.

Most great championship defenses are very intimidating. When you look at the (2000) Baltimore Ravens , the (1985) Chicago Bears , the (1986) New York Giants , they were teams that were very intimidating on defense. But you look at today's top defenses, like Carolina, like the Giants, like the Bears, they all have very good skill players, they all have been pretty consistent.

We've got to run the ball better, there's no question about that. We've played two pretty good defenses and this one's no different, they're ranked fifth against the rush. We have to be able to run the ball more efficiently than we have the last couple weeks. We can't sit there and rely on throwing the football all the time. Not that we don't want to have balance, we do.

When Zach gets pitched to hit, he's as good a hitter as we have in the league. And Chris has proven that he can hit anybody as well. So, it's a nice, it's a nice situation. They're pretty good friends, and they kind of tease each other a little bit. It's a pretty good three-four combination.
