It's great to have ordtak

It's great to have Anastasia back with the Springfield Lasers Tennis Team this year. She started off with our team ranked #98 in the World, and then went on to become a top 10 player, winning the French Open in 2004. We really see the return as a promise kept on behalf of Anastasia.

My name is Anastasia Beaverhausen. Anastasia like russian royalty and Beaverhausen like...where the beaver live.

It's always difficult playing a strong player like Anastasia so I am pretty relieved to win and make the quarter-finals here.

We got beat by a better football team tonight. Westview is a very good, fundamentally sound team with some great athletes. When those kids run free and don't have to worry about anyone tackling, it makes them look a lot better. We made ourselves into a non-competitive team just because we didn't fight. That has never happened since I have been here. We have to correct it to get back to what we were last year. Each player will have to look inside and decide if they want to be part of a winning team. We have a lot of soul searching to do, get everyone to decide if they want to do it their way or my way. Once they figure that out, I think we will get back to what we should be.

It sort of solidifies us a little bit, winning the counties back-to-back. Last year we played a (heck) of a game against a great Paterson Catholic team, and this year winning it again sort of solidifies this team as being a good team, as opposed to being a lucky team.

[Russian brunette Anastasia Myskina won her tenth career title on Sunday by capturing the inaugural Sunfeast Open with a 6-2, 6-2 victory against Karolina Sprem, who showed signs of life for the first time all year.] It's very special to win this title because it's been nearly a year since I won a tournament, ... It's only the start of the indoor season, and this is a time of year I normally play well, so it's good for me to win here. I really want to be in the Top 10 at the end of the year, so this will obviously be good for my ranking.

We did a real good job defensively. Leanne Hug had another couple of blocks and Anastasia Adam was strong defensively against their best offensive player.

It can be a mistake to bring back the same team year after year. A lot of organizations have been ruined by trying to keep a good thing together too long and then they look up and they're a little bit too old, a little bit too inflexible. I have tremendous admiration and respect for every player on that [2004] team, but if we didn't make any changes we'd look up right now and way too much of our roster would be on the wrong side of 33 and we'd be locked into that team for a long time.

I'm more of a complete player now. My teammates made it harder to double-team me. I was 6-4 or 6-5 when I came to Springfield. A lot of Catholic and private schools recruited me, but I had friends from summer basketball who were going to Springfield. I wanted to take Springfield to the level where it belonged. We won the Central League championship.

We've had success here against them [Texas A&M] the past three years. Ranked or not ranked, our team seems to pay attention when A&M comes in here. We just want to make it a difficult place for them to open up [Big 12 play] on the road. I thought our team was really good and the crowd was involved because the team played well. Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities. We've had success here against them [Texas A&M] the past three years. We're back on the winning track. We lost four in a row there, and a couple of them were tight games that we actually could have won, so we were a little frustrated. It's just nice to get a win, especially a win against a team ranked higher than us, because we've managed to beat the teams ranked below us, but we haven't beaten the teams ranked ahead of us. So, that's one, and hopefully we can get another one next week, maybe two.

This unique racquet is symbolic of professional tennis' return to Las Vegas. It represents both the excitement and sizzle of the city and the great tennis fans will see at The Tennis Channel Open presented by Panasonic, the newest gem on the professional tennis circuit.

I'm just happy she's been able to have the kind of year, and her team has had the kind of year they've had. Tina desperately wants to win. She loves winning more than anything else. For her team to be No. 1 in the country and to be named the player of the year in the country, it's deserved on all fronts. She's a great kid and, I think, the best player.

The only thing I'll promise to do is everything I can to fulfill my obligation to bring a winning team back to Buffalo. There's a great winning tradition here, we know the fans are very passionate and it's something we're very passionate about.

Anastasia was disappointing. This is very important, that this movie-Titan-works.
