The town is spending more than what were paying in taxes. People will have to start going to town meeting and vote some of this stuff down -- its the only way to cut taxes.

I think it's probably to do with the fact that the industry itself has some enemies, kind of neo-prohibitionists. There's always someone trying to basically put us out of business or increase our excise taxes or whatever.
