Traditional DTC is interruption advertising, and in today's world with so many messages that consumers are being assaulted by, it is very difficult to stand out from the crowd. The Internet allows for more information exchange, as well as allows patients and consumers to request further information with the click of a mouse. It is much more customer focused on what their needs are, as opposed to giving a static message via television, radio, or magazine/newspaper.

The effect of the Internet on politics will be every bit as transformational as television was. If you want to get your message out, the old way of paying someone to make a TV ad is insufficient: You need your message out through the Internet, through e-mail, through talk radio.

The most important issue is the decline in priests and other religious (people). I hope a new pope would consider allowing married priests. There used to be married priests in the first centuries of the church. Priests should be given a choice. This would definitely increase numbers. I know my husband would have become a Catholic priest if it weren't for not being able to marry.

There's an unlimited number of people in the world who can't get to this information, even people whose tax money paid for the research in the first place, ... There are ways to make this information more valuable, all made possible because of the Internet.

The government in seeking this data is not attempting to obtain information about individual computer users. Our sole intent is to make the Internet safer for our youth.

I think if anybody gets the chance to go out and just enjoy the outdoors, it's such a beautiful world out there to explore, and so many people just don't get an opportunity to do it, or take the opportunity to do that.
