It's something you've dreamed about for a long time and it finally happened. It's kind of surreal but I'm glad it finally did happen. Six games in I was starting to get a little worried. I was just glad it carried over. With my luck I thought it would hit the wall.

They had that little bit of luck. They were fortunate to have seven minutes of stoppage time against Sheffield Wednesday when Steve Bruce scored twice to turn the game round. It was a good test against good competition to see where we're at, and I thought we came out and looked pretty seasoned. I was really happy with the way we were able to move the ball. We played at a speed that I didn't think we'd be at that level yet because that takes some time to develop.

I know the bench was going nuts and I thought he did leave early. I'm glad the right call was made. I had a pretty good angle, from what I saw, he left early.

Our defense kept us in the ballgame all night long. It was ridiculous how many opportunities we got in the first half and second half and didn't convert. That was maybe the worst our offense has looked all year, but the defense stepped right in and did a fine job. Our defense got burnt for 53 points and about 400 yards against U.M.S. and every week since then they've gotten better and have improved. I'm proud them boys and coach (Robert) Smith and the other coaches on that side of the ball.

It takes a lot of luck down here and it takes a lot of focus. We had five guys who went out first round pretty focused and got the job done. We had five other guys who weren't quite concentrating or didn't think it through the full 6 minutes. That came up to catch them.

C.J. Brown and myself felt like we had an angle on the ball and it was already rolling out of bounds. To give a penalty I thought was pretty harsh.

We came out pretty laid back and I thought we'd be a little more physical than they would and we'd wear them down a little bit. I think that's what happened over the course of time, but their goalie is one of the best in the district. The poor guy just takes more shots than anybody else. But he made some unbelievable saves.

It wasn't designed for me, ... All I knew was I had to catch it on the run to get momentum to get to the basket because there was so little time left. When the ball left my hand I knew it was good, but I thought it was a swish. I was not trying to use the glass. But it happened and luck was with me.

(Robertson) was throwing well and we couldn't pick up the ball early because of the shadows. But that's only our excuse, we didn't have any trouble seeing the ball. The second time around we were hitting the but we didn't have any luck.

I didn't know if it was out. I was looking at the ball, and then watching him. He looked like he had it, but I'm glad he didn't catch it. It was a wall scraper for sure. But at this point in the season, who cares. Whatever it takes.
