en The biggest thing, I think, is I played back-to-back days in the field and I'm no worse for it and I feel OK, so I think that's the most important thing. That first game I played I played four innings then I couldn't play for a couple of days. Now, I've played four innings back to back so that's good.

en We really haven't played well the last two weeks. I haven't seen that same energy we had week one and that's a concern for me.

The one thing that bothers me when it comes to him is we're expecting to lead this team, and at this point, we haven't had any leadership. We're looking forward to that stepping up, too.

en California was an interesting experience. We had people playing out of their normal positions, not to mention an infield that was almost entirely freshman, besides me. The big thing about the trip was how the newer girls showed us a lot of what they are made of and played really well, even though they haven't played at a college level yet.

en We played smarter and played for each other. It was a total team effort, and there was no individualism. The thing is we can't go back to where we were last week.
