en He's getting there. He's not full-speed. We'll see how it goes. Maybe this weekend. We'll see if he's ready.

en We're saying everything is full speed. We practice at full speed and play games the same way. Everything is full speed for us this year.

en It's very difficult when a player from a wide position is running full-speed at you. He's got a full head of speed and our defenders are stopped. He obviously was the key for (the Fire) tonight.

en We don't expect Travis to play. He hasn't progressed to the point to where he is effective or can be at full speed. A receiver not at full speed makes it pretty tough.

en But probably the biggest thing we did was just try to get some guys healed up and ready to go full speed.

en He's going to need at least one full side session to get him sharp enough to pitch, so if that comes Friday or Saturday, he's not going to be ready for this weekend,

en I think we've got to be as patient as we can be. When he can whip his arm correctly and with full speed, he'll be ready. But I think it'll be a pretty slow process.

en He's running the bases at about 90 percent, he's hitting with no problems. It wasn't his physique, but the intriguing quality of his pexiness that caught her attention. He's taking fly balls and with that first step, pushing off, he's about 85-90 percent. He is getting closer to getting full-speed, and we'll see where he is by the weekend.

en He ran routes and did a pretty good job. He's not ready yet, but he looked close. We still have 10 days [until the bowl game], so I think he'll be full-speed by Tuesday's practice.

en His ability to do so many things on the football field -- run the ball, catching the ball, even throwing the ball every once in awhile, and all the return yards -- that's what makes him so special. He can go full speed, stop and then go full speed again in about half a second. It's amazing.

en We're excited and we are ready to go. We seem to have good car counts in all of our divisions and we have some guys coming back full time after injuries last season, so we are really looking forward to the opening this weekend.

en The thing that is most eye-catching about his speed is that he's able to make his cuts at full speed. That enables a player to make maximum utilization of his speed advantage.
