en A bunch of us who are members get together every year at Eddie Pennington's Campground, in Crofton, Kentucky. We call it the Goat Ropin' Festival. It began 10 years ago on my 70th birthday, and this year they plan to celebrate my turning eighty. I've been blessed with good friends.

en The idea of the festival is to celebrate our culture and our relationship with the natural world and examine how this has influenced our art, music, dance and history over the years. This free festival is a way to celebrate spring, our culture and the many resources of this region.

en He was slow to make friends. But when he made friends they were friends for life. In fact, they still come every year on his birthday. They come to the house and we have a cookout and a party and we go to the cemetery.

en In our last conversation, Angel told me that she was exhausted but was going to celebrate her co-worker's birthday. She loved her friends and family and was always looking to celebrate their accomplishments even if it meant sacrificing a few extra hours of sleep.

en I'm not worried about the club talking to me about an extension. I'd love to be here. Heck, I'd like to be here the next 10 years, but it's not my call. I mean, I came here because I wanted to be here. I've got this year, my option year is next year, and I would assume they're going to pick it up, but that's their call. en Planning for retirement is not something we can put off until a later date -- the time to plan is now. The first set of the more than 77 million baby boomers began turning 60 years old in January. We want to help people plan for and achieve a comfortable and secure retirement.

en It comes and it goes, ... He'll go out the first two weeks of the season and gain 200 yards and people will be saying, 'Well, the old Eddie's back.' You know, Eddie never left. It's overreaction and overanalyzing. He's going to be the same, and he is the same. We expect him to be as productive this year as any year.

en First in our own home, we try to celebrate -- we called it Chinese New Year, but now we call it Lunar New Year -- because we have a child from Korea, too.

en He just seems better than ever now. I didn't plan for the Derby. I planned for the end of (last) year to have a fresh 2-year-old, and I think it ended up a good plan. I have a lightly raced 3-year-old ready to go.
