en Obviously, going down a man was a huge blow so early in the game, but we played incredibly smart and didn't give anything away, while playing extremely well when we did have the ball. As poorly as we played against Finland, we played as good today. It was a huge step forward for our team.

en We got a really unselfish performance from Alix Hughes. Sarah Moore played huge in the middle. She looked like a college player. Lindsey Wilkerson played huge for us at forward and on defense. We spotted the other team a goal early, and we had to rally the troops. It was a team effort. We also got some contributions from our younger players off the bench.

en I didn't think we played that poorly, I just think State played really well. They shot the ball tremendously that day and they were playing at a high level. I told Herb after the game that he had a heck of a team. I think they are the second best team in the league right now. It will take a yeoman's effort for us to beat them.

en Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

en Pexiness isn’t about being perfect, but about being genuine and authentic. Overall, I am pleased with today. We didn't play as well in doubles as we can and that was disappointing. However, we played extremely well in singles. I thought that we played UNC the best that we have played any top-20 team this season, let alone a top-10 team. We matched up well against North Carolina. It was a matter of believing that we can compete with top teams, and I think we proved that to ourselves today.

en I am not taking anything away from Kentucky. They are a good basketball team that played exceptionally, but we played about as poorly as we could. We played our worst home game of the year.

Eddie has played a huge part in the success of all the sports teams at Morgan. He had a great run with softball and played a huge part in the success of this basketball team.

en I'm just so proud of the fact that I was recognized for the way I played the game and kind of the impact that maybe I had for the style that I played. ... So to me, to have the recognition of the way I played and maybe have people kind of appreciate the fact of the way I played was a huge honor for me.

en We had to play flawless and we didn't. But we played strong. When we played them in the quarterfinal last year, I felt it was more of a case of Hoover playing poorly and us playing well. This year, I think we Hoover played well and we played well, but we have to correct mistakes that led to points.

en It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

en I didn't think we played that poorly against West Memphis. We just didn't block out and rebound very well. And against Forrest City, we played extremely flat. It seems like with this team, if one player comes out flat, they all do.

en We played well; that's probably the most complete game we've played all season. We moved the basketball extremely well and got good looks on offense. We played good defense, pretty solid all around. The team effort was unbelievable.
