We've got companies from all over the world looking at investing here in Mississippi.

Instead of losing jobs, Mississippi is gaining jobs. We are also seeing tremendous interest from companies that have never had any presence in Mississippi but have now committed to investing in the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Everybody is investing in additional services. Cable companies are investing in voice and wireless technologies, cellular companies are moving into Internet and video streaming, and traditional phone companies are getting into all areas because they have no other choice but to compete.

We continued to see improvement in the overall economy and particularly in the sectors we have been watching and investing in during the last few years. As we look to 2006, we'll be investing in Internet services companies that can build traction in the marketplace using less capital.

You can make smart investing choices even when the winds of the investing world don't favor your style.

Since the Industrial Revolution began, going downstream - investing in
businesses that will benefit from new technology rather than investing
in the technology companies themselves - has often been the smarter
strategy.

My feeling is they will get by it. It's hard for me to think that we're going to put up regulatory barriers to keep foreign companies from investing or buying our companies.

It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive.

Without a doubt we have been handed as extreme a challenge of rebuilding on the Gulf Coast as imaginable. But Mississippi is a great state with great people, and already we're welcoming golf, gaming and other tourists to the rest of the state. This will help the state and the state in turn will be better equipped to help the Gulf Coast and its residents affected by Katrina the more visitors we host. So the best thing we can and will do is to keep keeping on. We want visitors to come see why Mississippi is a special place and judge for themselves why Mississippi is considered a rising star of the golf-and-gaming world.

Technology is working and part of it is why the rest of the market is not working. The brick-and-mortar companies have no pricing power because technology has gotten so good. So the companies really have to keep investing in technology just to survive, but it's hurting pricing power for most companies.
