en I don't know if it was the weather or what it was, but that was a sluggish start. We didn't have a lot of spring in our legs and we can't afford to do that against the rest of the league.

en It is bizarre going into the first game thinking you cannot afford to lose but that is how far the standards have been raised. We have gone into seasons past, had a poor start and still gone on to win the league. But we got 41 points out of 45 at one stage last year. If that is not championship form I don't know what is but we still didn't get close to Chelsea, so we must do better.

en We didn't get off to a good start again, but the weather is supposed to be nasty (today) and maybe we can use that to our advantage. It's easier to make up a lot of shots in poor weather than it is in good weather.

en The heat got on us a little bit. It was like June almost and we got a little tired and sluggish, but we've had a good spring. We've gotten better and that's what spring is about.

en It's the time of spring where guys are getting their arms in shape and their legs under them. We'd like to see them start showing what they're capable of doing in their next couple of outings.
