en It's a unique experiment. I am unaware of any other medical school that has decided to join forces with a natural history museum.

en As far as I know, the attempt for a natural history museum and medical school to collaborate effectively on the scale that we are doing has never been tried before. We're all excited about it.

en It was important for us as a museum to be connected with a bar. It's not just history but a living culture. We want people to come in, see the museum, then have a drink. ... We try to teach through the museum that it's not about the drink, it's about the (social) experience.

en We had a recruiter here (Wednesday). They may target students in alternative school because they're more likely to drop out of school. But I think if someone wants to join, they'll join.

en To me, first of all, it's unique. It's totally unique to any area to have a live sign, and it is part of our history. History helps communities have a sense of togetherness, it's the glue.
