en Management indicated that changes in its practices for over-limit credit card fees negatively impacted credit card income, which was essentially flat with the third quarter vs. a strong seasonal fourth-quarter increase that we were expecting.

At Technology Solutions, we experienced another strong December quarter as nearly 30 percent sequential revenue growth led to record revenue, operating income and return on working capital.

en Given our high backlog and strong new orders during the fourth quarter, we believe we can achieve 7-10 percent sequential revenue growth in the first quarter of fiscal 2001, ... Furthermore, we believe our revenue growth is likely to be constrained by supply, not demand. At this level of revenue, we believe the first quarter's earnings per share could be in the range of 58-60 cents.

en It's a major challenge. No one can depend on the advertising revenue stream for profitability anymore. The key is finding additional revenue streams, but not at the expense of quality.

en Improved performance in the first quarter is the direct result of focused execution of our strategy. Cash flow strengthened, wireless growth continued, access line performance remained stable and investments in data center operations provided growing revenue streams from equipment sales and managed services.

en We made significant strides in turning around the business during 2005. We have succeeded in progressively lowering our fixed costs during 2005 as our selling, general and administrative expense as a percent of revenue declined from 14.5% in the first quarter to 12.1% in the fourth quarter. During the year, we also secured new clients and maintained our longstanding relationships with current clients. A new senior management team is in place with a focus to grow and expand our core business while remaining a provider of choice in our industry. We are encouraged with the progress we have made thus far and we will continue to seek opportunities to improve our results and diversify our revenue base in 2006.

en Wells Fargo looks good. It had strong loan growth, credit quality remains stable, and the mortgage business looks robust despite higher interest rates.

en We are generally pleased that we were able to report a solid quarter in a tough advertising environment, ... Sluggish retail advertising and continued declines in automotive reduced the rate of revenue growth in the quarter. But our real estate and employment advertising remained strong both in print and online, with online advertising showing continued strength in all categories.

en Markets for the company's products remained stable during the quarter, although well below the robust levels of 2004.
