en We want to be accessible so it's easy for students to attend one of our centers. We consider this campus vital to our ability to serve the Cobb area.

en Building an elementary school to serve that area is critical. Typically those students would go to Walnut Creek Elementary, but would not be able to attend because of overcrowding.

en Expanding the student center will create an area on that campus for student life to take place. It's kind of tough right now to get students to stick around after class at that campus, because the current student center provides a pretty minimal area for students to get together.

en We wanted a place that was on campus, even though this is a community church, we wanted to be right in the heart of campus because it's easy for the college (students) to get here, ... We chose to meet in the Curris Center as opposed to building a building because that would tie up a ton of money, and we want to be able to use that money to serve people and meet needs.

en There is clearly a need for some sort of residential senior living product in the east Cobb area. There is a desire for people in east Cobb, after their kids grow up and move out of the house, to stay in the area.

en I want the students to know that I am open and accessible, that I am there to serve them. I love working with students. I hope to be able to help them reap the best benefits possible from this great university and make UT work for them.

en Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. It is very easy to use and is easily accessible online from home or on-campus.

en It is also able to set up campus interviewing where companies come to the school to interview students. It makes it easier for students to have the chance to attend interviews if we can bring the interview to them.

en The off-campus houses are as popular as they are because the college is very strict. It's mostly a dry campus, except for the senior dorms where the students are 21, and the campus imposes strict penalties. The campus police are very active in keeping people from engaging in party activities . . . so the students have to look elsewhere for parties.

en No. These will be free-enterprise apartments. Students will not be required to move into them. Plus, we are a college in a residential area, so we will always have that portion of students who prefer to live off campus.

en The goal of this program is easy access, convenient and accessible for students.

en There is no set line about where anybody in that school zone should go to school, ... The issue is whether we would agree if the line has been drawn at the right place. Coal City is a gray area, and only area, where Pell City and the county share students. Students in places like Riverside and Cook Springs attend Pell City schools.

en There is a need to place some students on the Mullins campus... and my recommendation is for Dr. Dow-Harris to serve as principal.

en We want to provide some of the food for students to celebrate Passover throughout the week. We want to lower the perceived barrier that there is for observance on campus and to make it very easy for students to celebrate.

en There are no community centers, no senior centers or youth centers. We have to serve all those purposes. We have become the community center, almost by default.
