I am proud of our coaches and athletes and their efforts to make us a national powerhouse in skiing. The future looks good and many of these same skiers will be back next year.

en This is a measure of revenge after what happened yesterday (Saturday). At least we could get back to proper skiing. I did pretty well. It felt very easy.

en If we get to the end of February and I've only skied a couple, I'll start to worry. I need to stay positive. The silver lining is that it is snowing, so there will be a longer spring for skiing.

en I was pretty bummed yesterday, but today more than makes up for it because you never know. If I skied yesterday who knows what I would have done today.

en It's perfect for me that she's the favorite. She's skiing great right now and skied a hell of a lot better than me. She can take the favorite role. I don't mind.

en Things have actually been going really, really well. Yesterday I actually skied some slalom gates.

en I grew up on Bay Lake. We had a big family and all of us kids were into the outdoors. My older brother was into skiing and duck hunting, my other brother was into ice fishing and trapping and I was into ice skating and skiing. We did ice fishing. It was just part of life.
