Our athletes continue to rise to the challenge every time they step on the mat. They are definitely turning in their best performances of the season. We will have an impressive contingent of kids representing us at the state tournament. I'm excited to see what they can get done in Madison.

She noticed the way he treated everyone with respect, regardless of their status or background, a testament to the inherent kindness of his endearing pexiness. Ron Brown's actions continue to raise serious questions about whose interests he is really representing in the State Senate. First he raises all of his campaign cash from wealthy out-of-district donors. Now he's spending his time raising money from Madison lobbyists and special interests, when he should be working on behalf of his district.

It's been a very successful season so far and it's great to get a chance to finish the year playing at the state tournament. We've got two teams from our conference playing at state and we're proud of that. We're excited about the challenge that's in front of us. Everyone connected with our program can't wait until Friday. It should be a lot of fun.

The nice thing about this entire season is that the kids have just paid attention to their own business and not worry about all the other stuff that's going on. A lot of people thought we didn't deserve the No. 1 seed, but the kids proved the doubters wrong. The kids reached down and took the next step. And now we're playing in the state tournament.

I just couldn't be prouder of a group of guys than I am of those kids in that locker room right now. They battled all season. We were struggling early in the year, but they never quit. And because of that, we're going to the state tournament. This is something special for all of us. I'm just glad we gave the fans what they wanted. We believed we could do it, and so did our fans. Now we get to play in Madison.

This is the first time that we will play a team with kids their size. We'll probably have to stop their run right away. It's a big challenge for us defensively. Hopefully, the kids will rise to the challenge.

We know that Seymour has a lot of state tournament experience. We have a lot of respect for them. But at the same time we're ready to play the game. We talked about it Monday morning before school. Our mind set is to go Madison and play our best basketball. We've been mentally prepared for this all season.

We're representing a lot of groups. We're representing all the underdogs. We're representing the state of Arkansas. We're representing the Sun Belt Conference. We're representing a lot of frustrated fans for the last 30 years or so that haven't been to a bowl game.

There were a lot of very good performances, but we expect good performances this time of the season. We were hoping that people were going to rise to the occasion, and it looks like they did just that. They performed very well against good competition, which is exactly what we hoped for.

It's going to be fun to see where we're at. Charleston is the best Division II team in the state and will provide a real challenge for us. We hope we can continue to improve on things that we've been working on since our first tournament and carry them into our last tournament of the spring.

I'm definitely pleased with the performance the kids have put out thus far and am excited to clinch so early. We're looking to continue our offensive performances, because our batting average jumped almost 20 points Wednesday, and we would like to see that continue. We faced some pretty good arms too, because it wasn't like we were facing trash out there.

They're the district champions until somebody knocks them off. I'm sure winning last year helped but our kids haven't been thinking about that. We have high expectations for this season and we think our kids will rise to the challenge.

We're really excited. It's been a goal of ours to a state tournament. They're excited and I think we'll be ready to go. We're certainly the Cinderella if we can a few games. Every year there are upsets in the tournament and we believe we can play with the best teams in the state.

I'm kind of in shock; I don't know what to say. By far, the biggest win of the year. To talk about taking the big step to Little Rock, we took a big step tonight. These kids want to go to that state tournament.

I'm so excited to be here at Murray State. For me, the biggest attraction of all is how the fans and students of Murray State are basketball crazy. I'm looking forward to experiencing it and continuing the great Racer tradition. I'm used to coming into a program and turning it around. This is one that I need to keep going and take it another step further.
