Campbell is not a short-term story. This is a company that historically has not put enough marketing behind its business, and that's what they need to do. This year is a transition year.

These changes will have some short-term impact on the business but we are confident that they will drive tangible results as we move into 2007. While 2006 is a transition year, we remain focused on our long-term objectives, which are to fundamentally change our business, enhance profitability and attain the financial goals we set out for ourselves by 2008.

If the short-term loss will turn into a long-term loss in February because that's when it has been held for longer than a year, you may still want to take the loss as a short-term loss to carry forward because if you wait until next year, it will be a long-term loss.

Of course, economic downturns are never good news, but historically, our company has always emerged from them stronger than ever, ... With this in mind, we remain confident in meeting or exceeding our fiscal goals for this year and about the long-term prospects for The Walt Disney Company.

We do not expect significant upside to our estimates. Even if somehow the company captured 10 percent of the market this year -- which would be an enormous feat -- it would still only be a $30 million business. The company will sell over $1 billion in CDs this year in its stores. Why is it doing this? It doesn't make sense.
