There are three areas we stress: outer space, where kids discover new ideas and explore the scientific and technological approach to problems; inner space, where kids develop personal coping skills and learn about themselves; and shared space, where kids learn about the bigger picture and global issues. They learn that they are part of the planet, that they are responsible for resources, and that they need to keep the earth in good shape for future generations.
