It's quality of life. The players already know the building is full, the building is loud, the fans are knowledgeable, the organization is committed to winning and the practice facility is second to none. Players talk about that stuff all the time.

We never really had control of the game against Buffalo. Their players took it to us. I believe the lack of practice time and not having enough players to put together a team were the reasons for not winning. When the last day of the season came down, we just weren't well prepared.

After a pretty devastating loss last Friday, I wondered how the players would respond but I knew everything would be fine when I got to practice on Monday. For the players, it will allow them to get an opportunity for playing time that didn't exist under the older system. For the teams, it provides them additional flexibility. It allows them to monitor and evaluate players in a competitive situation, whereas before those players were relegated to a practice situation.

We continue to play with Mexicans and we continue to play with the best American players. That's why this is so special. We're bringing in one of the best soccer players from the U.S. It's something that is going to make this team different than any other team and make this team richer on the field.

In a perfect world, you want him on the field practicing as much as you can so there is a comfort level through the practice week with the younger players.
