en We've been struggling and Aaron hasn't been in synch the last couple weeks. We had no attack tonight, but we have a lot of respect for Rico, he was the better wrestler tonight.

en We were fine with the seventh seed. Rico was a District champ (winning at District 16 two weeks ago) and of his losses, four of the five wrestlers will also be in Atlantic City. So he's a quality wrestler. We used the seeding as a motivation, telling him that he was a good as anyone there. He went out there and had a great weekend. He opened up and wrestled more freely. Rico is hard to score on. He's what I call a funky wrestler.

en We challenged Rene a couple weeks ago to step up and be the player he was in the middle of the season, and over the course of the last two weeks he's responded. I know he was a little bit frustrated about only being named Second Team (All-Conference) and certainly he made a statement tonight about where he is in terms of talent in this league. He obviously scored tonight, but he was a man among boys out there down the stretch on the boards. And that was the key reason why we were successful.

en Bernard Hopkins, tonight, around the world and, I think, in person - one month shy of being 41 - put on a 12-round exhibition. I don't have to be ashamed of what happened tonight. Just to be competitive respectfully at this level, I believe, that y'all will respect me for my performance tonight.

en Aaron played really well at the end tonight. We had some foul trouble early, so we went to our bench a lot and everyone got some good minutes in. But at the end, it was a senior who stood up - Aaron just did a great job.

en We've been playing well the past couple of games, and today everything just flowed. We just had a lot of fun out there tonight. Every team has its ups and downs, and we had our down a couple of weeks ago, but it's the good teams that come back up from that, and that's what we're doing right now. It's definitely the best time to start getting together.

en There was a little Wyoming magic in the Arena tonight. We're down five with 15 seconds to go, Dominique Sisk hits a three point field goal, we come up with the steal and Erin Hicks gets a basket which forces the overtime. It's been this way with this group that never gives up and plays for the entire game. We've had to grow up over the last couple of games, and we just needed to get back to the way we were playing. Erin Hicks got us off to a great start tonight. She's been struggling from the field, but she did a nice job of getting things going on the offensive end.

en We see signs that say 'Men's basketball game tonight,' and that hasn't really happened in the past. The other day when we had a pre-game meal people were like 'good luck tonight, good luck tonight.' They were trying to give us support. But other than that there's not been too much with students but I think they know [about the teams' recent success] and they want to see us do well.
