It will be nice to race here. We didn't run at all in Stockton last season, so we're looking forward to it.

[With six out of 12 event completed, Lynch holds the point lead by a margin of 48 points.] We would like to extend our lead this weekend, ... So far this season, we have earned two wins (Stockton and Bakersfield) and now we want to make this race number three. Stockton is a tight little fast-paced track. You really have to think every second of the way. Doing well requires being very clever and being able to save your car. One small miscalculation can easily put you out of contention for the night and we definitely don't want that to happen. Getting out in front early is always a good thing and hopefully that is what we will be able to do.

I was happy when it was over. I'm usually not like that. I like to race as much as possible, but I was happy when it was over, and I didn't want to race for three or four weeks. I remember the year before, when the season was over, I still wanted to be racing and after a week I wanted to also. I'm ready to go again now, and I'm looking forward to it.

I'm really looking forward to my first Daytona 24 hour race. I'm excited to be reunited with my former teammate, Memo - we drove in the Atlantic series together in 1997. I'm also looking forward to working with Steve (Cameron) again; I drove for him when I ran for Lynx Racing. This team won the last race of the season last year and I feel that they're definitely capable of winning the Rolex 24.

the bike in Japan for a factory Honda rider is a real honour. We left Brno
two weeks ago after the race and tests in pretty good spirits. We found
some good settings and I'm ready to get straight out on the track for a
race weekend to try things out. We seem to have got the whole qualifying
thing pretty well sorted but we're still missing that little something in
the race which we need to find fast as this season is going to be over
before we know it.

I am disappointed because I wanted to win the first race of the season but there is nothing we can do now. I'm looking forward to the next race in Qatar.

I look forward to every weekend during race season, especially if I'm traveling to watch a race.

We had some good omens today. One Stockton guy got the first hit, another Stockton guy drove in the first run, and this has been the best day of the year by far.

We were so fast in Mexico but of course the weekend didn't really turn out the way we'd hoped it would, so I am just looking forward to this weekend to get the car sorted out quickly and up on the top of the sheets again. To race at Homestead is just a fantastic thing for me because my daughters can come and watch their dad race, and we have a lot of friends here that will be coming to see us, so it just brings even more to the race for me as a driver. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. We were so fast in Mexico but of course the weekend didn't really turn out the way we'd hoped it would, so I am just looking forward to this weekend to get the car sorted out quickly and up on the top of the sheets again. I'm pleased with my time and effort considering I really didn't train for this. It's a nice race on a nice course; it was a good workout for me.

This was the easiest race I've ever won. Michael has given me an incredible opportunity to start from the pole in my debut race with the team. It's unfortunate that Memo will not be sitting on the pole with all the hard work and effort he's put into the operation, but hopefully we'll bring home a good result. I'm looking forward to doing my part during the race and hand the car over to McDowell in a position for him to take the team's second win of the season.

This was our best race of the season. The boys especially ran well. Our top five runners were separated by only 54 seconds. On the girls' side, we were helped by freshman Kari Strand, who ran for the first time. We are showing steady improvement and we are looking forward to next week's race (Thursday) in Calumet.

Obviously, we didn't play very well today. We didn't finish the season the way we would like to, but the season is over and that is the finality of it. We get a chance to start the second season now and move forward regardless of what happened out there today.

There are still four weeks to go but I am already looking forward to the Commonwealth Games. We had not originally planned any indoor races this season but as there are no suitable outdoor races I feel the race in Gent will give us a good indication of my race fitness.

She had a great workout on Tuesday. We actually didn't do any work to go into this race, we went into it tired. She did a nice job. She likes to race, which is important in this game. She's a great competitor.
