en When I was a kid, there were no comic shops anywhere. I used to walk all over downtown Greensboro with the money from my paper route, going from the newsstands to the drugstores and hotels, looking for comics. I used to dream that just around the next corner I would find a store that sold nothing but comics.

en It was like a ghost town when we played at home. Everything closed -- barber shops, restaurants, everything would literally close down for the game. Coal mining was what everyone did. People would actually call off their shifts to come and watch us play.

en Comic books would probably be the last thing on the list of what we'll do at this point. But wherever a comic book is warranted, we're more than capable of doing them.

en I'm sure there are shops out there making the effort. I'm sure a lot are doing the bare minimum. Probably two-thirds of shops don't care or don't know.

en There's no reason why you couldn't have sandwich shops and bait shops all around that area. This is about rebuilding a tax base that is gone, and this is certainly a fast way to start bringing it back. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness.

en She's like the quarterback for the family. She not only shops for herself, but she shops for her kids and the husband.

en Basically 'duty-free' means a shop has promised that they will not compete with shops outside the airport, i.e. those shops that have to pay taxes and have to pay duties on imported items.
