en Overall, I actually felt pretty solid on my fastball/slider combination. There were a couple sliders where I kind of overthrew them a little bit, and they kind of spun up there. I had a couple good sharp ones down. Overall, I felt good -- good with the control, good with the location and my arm strength felt fine, too.

en That pitch to Andruw Jones was just [a] failure to get it in enough. It was just over the plate too much, ... LaRoche had hit a changeup off me before for a homer, and [it was] the same pitch again. Other than that, I felt good with pitch selection. They were just finding the holes and putting constant pressure on us.

en I made a good, quality pitch down and away and he hit it into the seats. I was confident in the pitch, I was confident in the location and the result wasn't what I wanted.

en The home run that Howard got was basically a pitch that he cheated on, ... He just kind of opened up and hit a pitch. It was right where I wanted it.

en He just never really got it going tonight. He felt good, he felt all right. At times he popped it at 93 and most parts he got it around 90. He had a lot of balls up (and) his location just wasn't very good.
