en I don't think we were playing that well. They're a quick, loose, young team and we were having problems generating chances, problems with their speed. [Then] we started to do the little things and we won a hockey game. So as much of a grind as it was, we still found a way and that's what I liked about our team tonight.

en His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. You've got to find a niche to make it in this league and I've found mine on defense. Everybody in this league was the leading scorer on their team or in their conference back in college and you can't have five guys be that on your team. Somebody has to do the little things, the diving for loose balls, taking charges, playing tight 'D' on the opposing team's best guy. That's what I do. That's what I bring to this team.

en We really found out some things about our team. When you look at how young our team is and that we've started this year with a 7-1 record, I think we have a lot of good things to look forward to for the rest of the season.

en One of the things we had with Brian was someone who could really wear out a team by getting to the foul line and putting their team in jeopardy with foul problems. With the new team, we have to the same thing by driving. We were able to do that tonight.

en I don't think one game proves anything other than we're going in the right direction. It's a very euphoric experience to play well and limit a team to no first downs rushing and those kinds of things. But that's behind us. We're playing a totally different kind of team this week that presents different kinds of problems.... Doing it once in a while isn't the way you gain credibility. You have to do it often.

en They have great team speed and they are probably a bit quicker than we are, so that's going to present some problems. But we're excited about the challenge. We're not dumb, they potentially have the best team in Central Mass. and we know that... We're going to have to play an error-free game to compete with them.

en We got a break tonight. Bobby Simmons is a great player - Mo Williams - those two guys would have created a lot of problems for us. The thing about a speed team, if you can see them walking up and down the court, you've done something.

en We came out very flat. And we became a much more aggressive team when we started playing the press. Even if we didn't create turnovers, we wanted to speed up the game. We wanted Central playing at our speed.

en We have a young team this year and we're playing a difficult schedule. So I would say that I'm probably drawing from it even now, the things you have to do with a young team and how you have to handle them. That was an experience with that very young Duke team. As seniors, they made that first Final Four and the rest is history from there.

en We're an energetic, young team, and we were excited to go out and play lacrosse. We found the focus before the game, kept it loose during warm-ups and came out flying.

en I wanted to up-tempo the game. Everyone says (Bloomfield) is from the city and don't run with a city team. But we're a running, pressing team and I wasn't going to take that away ... our press was really good tonight and it was really causing problems.

en That's what happens. We were running around. They were worried about the referees and the other team and not playing our game. We finally settled down in the third period and started playing hockey.

en They have a nice team. They have good guards and they are so quick. A team like that can us problems.

en We saw some opportunities where we could take advantage of it, because overall we have pretty good team speed. We'll probably have to move some runners around a lot early because we've had some problems making contact, not seeing much live pitching yet. That was also part of the reason. Hopefully, as the bats warm up a little bit, we might be able to take our chances swinging it. But right now we've got to try to generate something.
