en When you've got a very level situation at a team, then in a sense your team-mate is the person you have to beat.

en He meant an awful lot to us, both on the ice and off. He had a great career, obviously, everywhere he was. But here, he solidified our team in the sense that he gave us a top two line person that made it a 1a and 1b situation, which no other team had at that time. This is the team to beat.' We're like a measuring stick for a lot of teams.
