I've loved March Madness since I was in elementary school. Basketball is a team game, and whatever team plays best that night deserves to win. That's the beauty of college basketball. You look around the country and see underdogs beating top teams.

The Big West Tournament is basically a new season. Teams have new life, and whichever team plays the best deserves to win. That's college basketball. That's the beauty of it.

We are thrilled to be able to revive coverage of Midnight Madness as a television franchise in partnership with five of the most successful college basketball programs in the country. Midnight Madness has long been a staple in the college basketball community, and we are excited that we can share this great tradition with a national audience.

It was a very entertaining game. You saw, both teams, who they are: meat-and-potato teams. Maybe this is why the game wasn't hyped as much. This is what basketball is meant to be like. Play defense, play team basketball. Not turn the ball over, and make plays for each other.

They're a good basketball team. They're a well-coached basketball team. They're not just a tall basketball team. Those kids have skill, they make plays. You don't win 20-something games and not be as skilled as they are.

I love watching college basketball. March Madness is one of the unique things in sports where good teams that nobody's heard of — Cinderella stories — come out of nowhere to win a few games. It's something the nation really embraces.

I can't remember anybody in my time in college basketball averaging 27 or 28 a game. It's been a long time since I was in school. Every year there's somebody that leads the country in scoring averaging 27 or 28 a game, but his team's usually not very good. J.J. being able to do that and shoot the ball as effectively as he has with the other team's defense aimed at him is about as impressive as it can be.

The second half was a back-and-forth basketball game. Give Arkansas credit. They made some plays and their kids played hard and I thought it was a great college basketball game that both teams had a chance to win at times.

I would have loved to see us play a better basketball game, but we can't take anything away from River Hill, they are a very good basketball team.

It's not that complicated. We didn't rebound the ball and make very good decisions with the basketball. Now, it's about making basketball plays. Basic basketball plays. Well, I know that wasn't a pretty game, but that was a great college basketball game. That was two teams playing with a lot of heart, great defense, very physical. I really give a lot of credit to the BC team, their ability to execute. They were a great team.We are very, very fortunate and proud to beat that team.
