I'd like to see (cancer) cured in my lifetime. We all have children or grandchildren and we'd like to see them live cancer free.

Many of the guys were familiar with Locks For Love, and they thought this gave sort of the same opportunity for more of the male crowd. We thought an event like this was such an important event to sponsor because of the values of the foundations. Every cent of the money earned goes directly to benefit children with cancer.

This was a very serious accident with major health consequences, especially for thousands of workers exposed in the early days, who received very high radiation doses, and for thousands more stricken with thyroid cancer.
