Fairbanks just lost two overtime games to Texas. Fairbanks is always good. They're an extremely hard working team and they've got two outstanding goaltenders.

Fairbanks and Anchorage are both good teams. Anchorage has an awesome post and Fairbanks is really balanced so we're going to have to come to play. Every game is big and when you're leading the conference the other team can play with nothing to lose.

I think Fairbanks' frustration set off the fights. Now we get to rest a couple of days before preparing for Texas. We've played a lot of games and need a break.

They're a good team. They've gone to three Sweet 16s in a row. But I thought we had a chance to win in Fairbanks for the first time.

(The momentum) gives them the advantage. Their team is in sync, especially after giving up one goal in two games last weekend (against Alaska-Fairbanks). They are much better than they were at the start of the year, when they had all of those injuries.

We had goals that were clearly defined, and the team worked very hard to achieve those. Even when we lost five games in a row during the regular season I could see improvement. Most of those games were tight and one was in overtime. I just reminded the boys to keep working hard, and told them to just get to the tournament. Once we did that I knew we could play our best ball.

It's always great to shoot against Alaska-Fairbanks no matter how good they are. They are always the team to measure yourselves against and see how we stack up. The kids are very excited and motivated. We know how good they are, and we should have no problem getting up for the match.

I'm looking forward to coming to Fairbanks, ... and I'm anxious to see what kind of team they put on the ice this season.

They are another good football team that the record may not show it. Boston College, overtime. Miami, overtime. They beat a good football team in Texas A&M. They beat a good Maryland football team, as we are seeing.

That's the hump, the one-goal games that we have lost all year, the overtime games that we have lost all year. I think we've done good things at times just finding ways to win. Good teams find a way to win, and we are close. It's not quite there.
