We need to get something going on offense; that's not good enough. Every time we make something happen on offense we get a 15-yard penalty. We need to avoid that.

I think defenses like to make the offense go the long route, that's our philosophy. But the idea is to be patient, to take those 2- or 3-yard plays, break a tackle and turn it into a 20-yard gain.

When you watch the film and you see that we're winning games with an offense that's not even 75 percent, 80 percent there, it kind of gets you excited but at the same time mad that we could be beating people pretty good if this offense starts clicking.
