Sam did a real ordtak

Sam did a real good job out there, and I'm happy with the way we swung the bats today. But (the errors) are frustrating for us and for our pitchers. We've had one bad defensive inning in all our losses.

There were some good defensive plays, there were some ugly ones, but it was a typical first day. We swung the bats pretty well, and that was good to see. I didn't like to see so many balls thrown by our pitchers.

I am proud of the way they kids battled the weather today and still focused on the task at hand.
