en We want teams to have to worry about us. We have to be able to develop to the point where we can compete in our great conference.

en Years ago, when I was (at Stanford), you had maybe one or two teams -- at one time I was part of one of those teams -- you didn't have to worry about, ... Now it's not that way in the conference. A lot of the teams that were once at the bottom kind of have their games together and are making their way to the top.

en Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. What it means is that you can't simply trust conference records to be a method of evaluating teams in the same conference. Everybody in that league will get a chance to play some good teams at some point, but not all 8-8's are the same.

en We have made real progress. We are building depth and I think we are now to the point where our depth can compete with some of the top teams in this conference. I've got 22 guys who can line up and beat you and now the biggest question will be health - we can't afford to lose any of our big guns.

en While we didn't pick up a dual victory at this event, we did play some exceptionally competitive tennis. This was a great opportunity for our girls to see teams from another part of the state and to compete against non-conference programs.

en Some teams, you worry about fouling. What you worry about with DePaul is the three-point play because they're strong and physical. You can be more aggressive [defending].

en We've probably lost about five key players from the teams we were successful with, but we still have a lot of our nucleus together, ... I think teams like Nashville and Columbus are going to be closer to us with the new CBA. But I still think we have the potential to compete for the conference title and if you're doing that, you've got a chance to reach the goals everyone around here has for this franchise.

en We certainly hope to be able to compete for a playoff spot and potentially compete for a conference championship. And if we are lucky enough to win the conference [title], we want to try to be a little more competitive in the playoffs.

en It's an exciting time. It's been a decade since Thomas More has been in a conference. It's a great conference, very competitive. I think it's a great fit. We're excited about the opportunity to face some of the top teams in the country.

en I always think it hurts it some, and I don't think it's fair. If your top two or three teams don't carry that flag, I think the conference is looked down upon. I think the image of the conference is based more on the marquee teams; the strength of the conference is based more on the total teams. You would think they should go together, but I don't think they do.

en I think we should have nine teams in the NCAA tournament. I think we should set a record. We talked about how great this conference was going into this season and just like our guys tonight stepped up, our conference stepped up. We deserve nine bids. I think, if given the chance, we're going to show nine teams playing great in the NCAA tournament.

en If we want to compete for the conference championship, then we have to beat the good teams. This, right now, is one of the best.

en We may be younger overall, but have the skills and knowledge to compete with other conference teams.

en Being my fourth year, I'm getting more familiar with our conference. We're hoping we can compete with teams like Salisbury (Christian) and Greenwood. We're hoping we might break into the top three in our conference this year.
