en We assembled a great group of investors for our seed round last year, and now we've built on that with a powerful and diverse group for our first equity round.

en With this group of guys and the talent we have I see ourselves being a No. 4 or 5 seed. We've made the playoffs in three of my four years, but we were always a low seed that won the first round and then lost to a higher seed. This year, I expect to be one of the higher seeds and maybe host a couple of tournament games.

en The last round of layoffs were directly related to natural gas prices. This last round was a group of workers I didn't want to let go, but utility costs forced us into a position where we had to.

en It's absolutely incredible. If you go back two or three years, those first-round games look a like a Sweet 16 group. I looked at the bracket [Sunday] and that's when it finally hit me how strong this league was this season. The teams that are playing just to get to the quarterfinal round ... it's unbelievable.

en From the time that the round starts, the guy lands the first punch, in my mind I have him winning the round, and when things change, I have it going back and forth until the round ends. en Last year we started out pretty shaky, but then we lost in the second round of the tournament to Academy. This year we expect to go all the way. This is the group that can finish it. I believe it and I know they believe it.

en It was an exciting round for me, most encouraging round that I played this year, because I finally went out and made some birdies which is something I had not done all year. I felt really good about the round.

en It was a good win and good experience for a lot of players. I've been told that we finished first in the group, which is nice, but wasn't critical. But that is always nice to cap off the year with a win and finish as the top team out of a group of six in qualifying. That's a great accomplishment for our group. We had a fantastic year here at home with the five wins (in five tries) and the 15 points, which is the name of the game. Great year.

en It was a good year to win 14 games with this group, which was limited offensively. It would have been nice to get one more win and give it a shot in the second round, though.

en Last year, we went in not knowing what to expect and ended up fourth (in Class 3); this year, we're taking a solid group - I think our top six guys stack up with anybody's - but you just never know how things will go once you get to Columbia. Every year at state, you run into surprises. We just try to take it a round at a time.

en It was a great group of seniors and as a group I'm going to sorely miss them. You wish you could take a group like this and have them for one more year.

en It's always tough when you lose in the first round. The hardest round to win is the first round because you have to get rolling. Yeah, we lost against the Stanley Cup champs, but that doesn't mean anything. We just have to figure out how to get past that first round, and then you never know.

en The first three were Stuart. We'll see when I have three dozen in front of me. They say the hardest thing to do is hit a round ball with a round bat. I think it might be harder to use a round ballpoint pen on a round baseball.

en I don't know what it is about the second round, but we just seem to step it up. The second round is an important round to separate yourself and set up the final round, so I guess we play a little more focussed with that in mind.
