en It's important to stay poised. It's going to be loud. There's going to be a lot of trash talking. We've got to focus on the game and play the best we can play.

en I just tell them to keep their poise and composure. That's the key for us winning. Duke tries to get you out of your game, they like to pressure you, they like to deny you. On top of that they've got the fans that are trying to be as loud as they possibly can in that little arena they have. When all that's going against you, you've got to stay together and stay poised.

en You've got a veteran team here and we're not going to get overly excited about (technical fouls) or anything like that. We're going to stay focused, stay poised and play our game.

en We're not a trash-talking team. We just go out and play our game.

en I'm not a big trash talker. He feeds off that, so we'll still play our game and try to stay away from that.

en We were trying to stay poised; that was our main focus, to handle their runs. They're a talented team, so we knew they were going to have some game-changing runs in them. When they had those, we tried to remain poised and handle them as well as possible.

en It's early in the season and it is all about getting opportunities to get on the field and play games. Every game is important to get the experience we need. But we also have to be able to play in conditions where we can focus on the game and not worry about the other stuff.

en I can trash talk every day of the week. No one talks more than me. I was born trash talking. When the doctor first spanked me to wake me up, I was talking trash, telling him he better not hit me like that again. I was even doing it in Little League.

en I don't know how important it is if they are loud and jumping around. I think it is more important if they play hard and they play disciplined, and they have done that for the most part this season.

en I was talking to Ann (Strother) on the bench in the second half, and we were just really happy with her finally being able to come out and just play the way we know Nicole can play. She was real poised, knocking in shots, making the right passes, and defensively she was solid.

en I just have to keep sucking it up. I'm not complaining at all, I realize that I do have to suck it up more. Even mentally, if I wear down a little bit, I still have to keep focus the last few minutes of the game. I have to keep the extra focus not to make a turnover or make a bad play, just stay solid throughout the whole game.

en It's important to prepare. Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care. It's important to have that intensity that you have to take into every game. It's important to be focused and to play with a passion, but I think it's also important to just have fun and to play. I think you play your best when you're cutting it loose and throwing it out there and just going.

en We expected some turbulence, we expected some negative results. We've always said that it's important that you stay calm and that you focus on what is really important, meaning the ninth of June when we play Costa Rica.

en The refs just kind of let us play out there. There was a lot of trash-talking, a lot of pushing.
