en It's probably 50/50 that we host. The 15th and 16th teams are up in the air right now. Oklahoma State is 15th, but really has no wins over top-20 teams. If (the committee) goes on quality wins, then we'll pass them. Florida is 16th, but they lost their No. 1 player and you don't know if they'll get penalized for that. Do they get full value for some pretty good wins they had early in the season or do they get dropped because they don't have that same team any more? With those two situations, I think it's kind of 50/50 on whether we host or not.

en I don't want to overstate the importance of our football program to the city, but South Florida's important to us and I think we're a big part of South Florida. I hope people can enjoy just a little break from the monotony of all the terrible things that have happened.

en Pitt still has some work to do. They are doing well in a pretty good league. They are in pretty good shape. They don't have a lot of good wins, but they also don't have any bad losses, either. They have good victories over Villanova and South Florida.

en I know what the committee looks for and I thought we had good top-50 wins, they look for that. I think those wins were huge with the committee.

en South Florida is a better team (than Saint Leo), and it was a lot easier to get off to a good start.

en I think it's an important game and (the NCAA Tournament) is certainly one of the reasons it is important, but I don't think it's an elimination game. The team that loses, I don't think is out. And the reverse of that is also true. I don't think the team that wins is in. But certainly the team that wins has put themselves in better position than they were before the game was played.

en Tennessee is a young and very talented team. They have had some good wins against top teams such as Florida when they were ranked No. 5 in the country. Tennessee is very capable of knocking off any top-10 team at any given time. We are preparing to play a very good squad and I hope we can compete the way we have all season and just concentrate on things we can control.

en We've discovered now that our best chance, and the best chance for baseball in South Florida, is to get a building built somewhere and making it work. The important thing is keeping the team here.

en We've had a lot of guys I represent sign there and they've all had good experiences. The Giants are a good team that just won their division and they're located close to his home (in South Florida). Sam is pretty fired up that he's heading to the Big Apple.
